AI search optimization (GEO)

AI search optimization built on clear, useful content.

Generative engine optimization (GEO) improves how clearly your website explains your business, services, and expertise for people and AI-assisted search. Eight Hats brings content, technical SEO, and website development together to support that work.

A clear foundation for search visibility.

Useful answers

We organize service pages and FAQs around the questions your customers actually ask. Clear explanations, specific examples, and original expertise help visitors make informed decisions.

A consistent business identity

We review your business name, contact details, services, and relationships across important pages. Structured data should describe the same information visitors can see.

A sound technical foundation

We check whether important pages can be discovered, crawled, and indexed, then review internal links, mobile usability, and performance issues that make content harder to access.

From audit to implementation

A clear plan for AI search visibility.

We start with your audience, priority services, and the questions people ask. Then we review the site and agree on focused improvements to its content, structure, and technical setup.

Your subject-matter experts review specialized claims so published answers accurately reflect your business. We measure observable changes over time; each AI platform decides what it includes.

01. Review the foundation

Check priority pages, business information, audience questions, and technical accessibility.

02. Make answers useful

Improve service explanations and FAQs, with expert review of specialized claims.

03. Connect the context

Link related topics and align structured data with the information visitors can read.

04. Review the evidence

Track available search data and documented AI mentions, then refine the work.

What is generative engine optimization?

GEO is a practical approach to making website information easier to discover, understand, and reference in AI-assisted search. It includes useful content, clear business information, and the technical foundations of SEO.

How is GEO different from SEO?

The work overlaps. SEO supports discovery and relevance in search; GEO also considers whether content gives clear answers and accurately explains the business for AI-assisted experiences. A separate layer of special AI markup is not a requirement for Google’s AI search features.

Can you guarantee inclusion in AI answers?

No. Search and AI platforms choose which sources to show, and their answers can change. We can improve content and technical readiness, but cannot guarantee rankings, citations, or inclusion in a particular answer.

Do I need to replace my existing website?

Not necessarily. Many improvements can be made to existing service pages, navigation, FAQs, and technical settings. We review your current website before recommending a rebuild.

How do we evaluate progress?

We agree on the services and customer questions that matter, establish a baseline, and review evidence such as organic search activity, inquiries, and observed AI citations. A sample of AI answers is a snapshot rather than a complete measure of visibility.

Built on established search principles.

Our approach follows Google’s guidance on AI features and websites: useful content, accessible pages, relevant internal links, and structured data that matches what visitors can read. No special AI schema guarantees inclusion.

Let’s identify your next improvement.

Share your website, priority services, and the questions your customers ask. We’ll help define a practical scope.
