Custom development by Eight Hats
Software that fits the way you work.
Connect the parts of your business that a standard website cannot handle on its own. Eight Hats develops custom WordPress plugins, booking systems, WooCommerce workflows, dashboards, and integrations for businesses and agency partners.
Built around your operations
Bookings. Commerce. Connected data.
Give customers a clear next step and give your team tools that match the work behind it.
- Event and vendor management
- Product purchase journeys
- CRM connections and reporting
Selected project work
Built for real business workflows.
These projects show how custom development can connect public website experiences with the operational tools behind them. Each implementation has its own scope, configuration, and launch requirements.
01 / The Bride Expo
Event discovery meets vendor operations.
An expo website needs to serve visitors looking for an event and vendors booking their place. We developed a location-filtered event directory and connected booking workflows around those different journeys.
What we developed
- Ticket Tailor event listings with state, city, and date filters
- Calendar and list views for finding upcoming expos
- Vendor booking workflows with multi-event selection and calculated pricing
- Payment-completed notifications and CRM handoffs
02 / The Golden Years Expo
A booking system built around the event.
We developed custom booth booking tools that bring event details, availability, pricing, and the vendor form into one managed workflow. The system also connects verified payment information to HubSpot.
What we developed
- Event-specific dates, pricing, capacity, policies, and FAQs
- Single-date purchases and configured event bundles
- Gravity Forms and Stripe payment integration
- Reservation tracking and HubSpot booking-payment synchronization
03 / Planet Nutrition
From a social campaign to the right checkout.
We built custom WooCommerce tools for preparing product-specific purchase links, social previews, and campaign reporting. The workflow helps the store connect its Facebook marketing to a configured product purchase path.
What we developed
- Product and variation campaign links with editable previews
- Configured coupons, offers, and eligible subscription choices
- Click, checkout, paid-order, and refund reporting
- A private product and campaign dashboard for administrators
Purchases use WooCommerce checkout. Facebook controls native button availability; saved payment options depend on the store gateway and shopper.
Our own platform
AI Alchemist: website intelligence and managed improvements.
Our AI Alchemist work brings website review, SEO and AI visibility workflows, and managed performance controls together. It reflects the same development approach: connect the information, make the next action clear, and retain human oversight.
Where custom development can help
- A repeated task depends on copying data between systems.
- Your booking or purchase rules do not fit an off-the-shelf tool.
- Your team needs one view of information held in several places.
- An existing plugin needs a carefully scoped extension.
A practical path from idea to working system.
Map the workflow
We identify who uses the system, the information it needs, the rules it must follow, and the existing tools it must connect.
Define and build
We agree on scope, then develop around clear acceptance criteria, permissions, and recovery needs.
Test and hand over
We check key journeys and edge cases, document the controls, and agree on deployment and ongoing care.
Planning a custom development project?
Can you work with an existing WordPress website?
Yes. We review the theme, plugins, hosting, and current workflow before recommending an extension, integration, or separate component. Compatibility and access are part of the initial scope.
Can you connect payments, a CRM, or another business tool?
We assess the supported APIs and official integrations, confirm account permissions, and agree on the data and actions that should move between systems. Third-party subscriptions and platform limits may apply.
Will the system be easy for our team to manage?
We plan the administration screens and documentation around the people using them. Training, handover, hosting, and ongoing maintenance can be included in the agreed scope.
How much does custom development cost?
Pricing depends on the workflow, integrations, data, testing, and support requirements. Share the current process and desired result so we can define a scope and provide a project estimate.
Show us the work you want to simplify.
Bring a description of your current process, the tools involved, and where things get stuck. We’ll help turn that into a practical development scope.
